LaChelle Woods is President and Founder of Premier Benefits Agency, LLC. LaChelle started her benefits career in 1986 with Ford Motor Credit Company’s insurance division. After a few years in the corporate world, she embraced her natural entrepreneurial spirit and became an independent agent. She joined a company that provided insurance benefits to self employed small and medium size businesses. The desire to be of service to business owners has been a pivotal part of LaChelle’s career ever since. She applies a “client first” and “team approach” to benefit solutions. She has assisted clients with financial and estate planning, employee benefits consulting, asset protection, wealth strategies, and individual and group insurance products. Her expertise includes health insurance, long term care, disability, life insurance, and extensive resources for any client challenge.
LaChelle’s personal interests mirror a similar community and global perspective. She enjoys local and international charitable and philanthropic service, spiritual pursuits, fitness, and spending time with friends and family. Originally from Minnesota, where she is known as “Chelly,” LaChelle loves Midwestern hospitality, “Ole and Lena” jokes, and homemade lefse.
LaChelle has her Registered Employee Benefits Consulting (REBC®), Registered Health Underwriter (RHU®), Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC), and Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) designations. She is life, health, and property casualty licensed.
